Terms and Conditions - Skicab.com

The following terms and conditions apply to passengers booking with Skicab.com which is a trading name of:

To guarantee the booking, a deposit will be required. The final payment is given to the driver in cash (euros) or paid online on Skicab.com before travelling. For groups > 8 passengers, the final payment cannot be given to the driver, this must be done online two weeks before your arrival. Skicab.com will confirm the booking by email.

The bookings entered on Skicab.com must be checked online on your customer account. Your booking is only confirmed if the status is 'Fully confirmed'.

Amendment
Customers can only send their amendments per email to info@skicab.com or online using the integrated messaging box situated on the booking consultation page. In case of substantial changes, including timetables, dates, number of passengers or route Skicab.com reserves the right to reject any or all of the requested amendments. The customers have to verify online that their reservation has been modified according to their request.

Cancellation
The customers can cancel their bookings online using the integrated messaging box situated on the booking consultation page. Full refund of payments done for cancellations up to fifteen days before the outbound travel date. For cancellations up to three days before the outbound travel date, if all paid refund 80% of the total price, if paid partially (deposit) no refund. In case of cancellations less than three days before the outbound travel date no refund. (The customers who cancel a booking must check online that the booking status is 'Cancelled')

Covid-19
In case of Covid-19 restrictions (closed resort or flight cancellation), the customers can cancel a booking up to 72h before travelling and get a full refund -2% (our bank charges) or a full voucher for another transfer in the next 18 months.

Luggage Allowance
Unless special options booked (including Space+), each passenger is entitled to two Items of luggage only (one suitcase or similar and one piece of hand luggage). Any excess luggage or ski equipment must be declared at the time of booking Skicab.com MUST be informed of items such as snowboards, skis, bikes, pushchairs etc... In the event of undeclared excess luggage, Skicab.com reserves the right to charge an excess luggage allowance or to refuse transport of the excess items.

Arrival and Pick-up Times
On Saturdays or heavy traffic times your transfer time may take longer than usual. You will be notified by email or by SMS if your return pick-up needs to be amended to an earlier time. If the transfer is delayed more than thirty minutes from the scheduled flight/train arrival time, please call Skicab.com immediately. Due to traffic conditions, our vehicles may arrive after your arrival, in this case contact Skicab.com for information to find the driver.

Documents
Tickets and invoices must be printed by the customer on the booking consultation page, the passenger(s) will give the driver a printed ticket. If the final balance is paid in cash to the driver, the passenger(s) must give the driver the printed invoice.

Prices, fares
The fare on the booking is fixed and all inclusive, the driver is not allowed to claim supplements, except as shown on this document. (If the vehicle used for the transfer is a taxi equiped with a meter the price paid to the driver can not be greater than the rate shown on the meter plus legal supplements as displayed in the vehicle).

Timetables, pickups
The passenger(s) will be picked up at times indicated on the booking. In case of a transfer from an airport or train station, the driver will be waiting for the passenger(s) in the arrival area with a sign indicating the name specified on the booking. In case of a transfer from a residence or hotel, the driver will wait nearby the reception. If your plane or your train is delayed for over thirty minutes, you should contact Skicab.com as soon as possible to amend and re-schedule your transfer. If the customer ommits to inform Skicab.com of the delay, the customer will be liable to pay an extra 25€ per waiting hour. Regarding the traffic conditions Skicab.com reserves the right to forward the pickup time for transfers to airports or train stations.

Photos on the website
All the pictures and the photos on Skicab.com website are only for illustration, none of them are contractual. The vehicles presented on Skicab.com website are also only examples.

Passengers, vehicles and conditions of Carriage
Skicab.com can refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the driver, the vehicle or the other passenger(s). Passenger(s) are not allowed to consume alcohol on any of our vehicles. Drinking, eating and smoking are not permitted on board of our vehicles.

Skicab.com transfers are made ​​by TONIC services or independent taxi and transfers companies. The vehicles used for the transfers are taxis, minibuses, cars, coaches or any appropriate vehicle, all are fully insured and licensed.

Skicab.com will use every reasonable means to ensure that the vehicles arrive and reach their destination on time. Skicab.com will not incur any liability whatsoever in the event of any delay due to causes beyond its control. Vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims, as required under local law. However, whilst every care is always taken, customers property is carried entirely at their own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage. Customers are therefore advised to check their own travel insurance.

Skicab.com will endeavour to carry the passengers to destination with the minimum discomfort and inconvenience. However circumstances beyond our control may prevent the achievement of this responsibility. The following are examples of circumstances which are not within our control:

Accidents causing delays to the vehicle. Exceptional or severe weather conditions including snow. Compliance with requests of the police. Accidents on the road. Vandalism and terrorism. Traffic delays. Other circumstances affecting passenger safety. Road closures due to local events. Failure by the client to produce their arrival/departure instructions. This list is not exhaustible.

It is the customer's obligation to report any difficulties with the services that we provide in the shortest practicable time in order for us to be given a fair opportunity to rectify any problems in the shortest possible time. It is the customer’s obligation to do all in his/her power to mitigate any loss.

Disputes
Skicab.com would only be liable for any reasonable consequential losses arising directly out of a breach in contract. In such cases our liability shall be limited to the fare of the transfer booked. Any dispute which could not be solved between Skicab.com and the customer will be exclusively under the jurisdiction of the Tribunal of Commerce or First Instance in Chambery (Savoie - France).
