Flight delayed or cancelled on a ski trip? What happens to your transfer
Before you travel, check the details on your booking
We track delays, so the flight details on your booking matter. Please check that the flight number and the arrival time are correct. If the airline changes your flight after you booked, send us the new details. Our terms count inaccurate arrival information among the circumstances beyond our control, so this is the one thing worth ten seconds of your time.
Three days before you travel we send you your driver’s contact details by email and SMS. Save the number in your phone. It is the fastest way to reach your driver on the day.
If your flight is delayed
For a delay of up to thirty minutes you do not need to do anything. We track delays and wait for you free of charge for the first thirty minutes.
If the delay is longer than thirty minutes, please contact us as soon as possible. Email, SMS and WhatsApp all work. We will adjust and reschedule your transfer. If we are not told about a long delay, an extra waiting charge may apply, as explained in our terms and conditions. A short message is all it takes to avoid this.
If your flight is cancelled or you miss a connection
Tell us as soon as you know, even before you have rebooked. Once you have your new flight, send us the new flight number and the new arrival time by email, SMS or WhatsApp. You can also add a message to your booking page. Amendments are free and easy.
Afterwards, open your online booking and check that the change appears. Our terms ask customers to do this. It also gives you peace of mind. You can reach us anytime by phone, email, SMS or WhatsApp. We always reply promptly.
If you land and your driver is not there yet
Your driver waits in the arrivals area with a sign showing the name on the booking. On busy days traffic around an airport can be heavy and our vehicles may arrive after the passenger. This is normal. Contact us and we will help you find your driver.
If you land at Geneva, read our guide to the Swiss and French sides of the airport. It explains where your driver waits and what to do if you cannot find them.
Delays on the road
On Saturdays and at other busy traffic times a transfer may take longer than usual. Snow, accidents and road closures can also slow any vehicle on the way to a ski resort. We use every reasonable means to arrive on time. If you notice a problem during your journey, tell us as soon as possible so that we have a fair opportunity to resolve it.
Your return journey
The same rules apply when you fly home. If your flight is delayed by more than thirty minutes, contact us as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your transfer. At busy times your pick up time may need to be brought forward. When this happens we notify you by email or SMS, so keep an eye on your messages before you leave.
